Equipping the classrooms

Now that we have managed to build the first four classroom block, kitchen block and small office, we need to be able to equip them.

We need donations to pay for desks, chairs, chalk boards and cooking utensils.

We have the first chalk board in place.

Developing the farm

Some of the five acre site is being farmed by the local population to provide supplemental food for the community whilst we try to raise the funds to build more classrooms and an accommodation block.

The school will offer vocational training in farming as well as academic training inliteracy, numeracy, health care, science and communications. In order to do this we need to build animal shelters and equip the farm with tools and provide fencing and livestock 'starter packs' with which to develop the agricultural college element of the project. Once the farm is established the produce will be used to provide school lunches and help the poorest in the community.
