Would you like to give someone with a severe disability a life changing experience?

The project
The Lake District Calvert Trust - Isle of Man Bursary will be made available to Manx people of all ages who are severely compromised by their disabilities, are economically deprived and who would otherwise be unable to benefit from the opportunity of the ‘Calvert Experience’.

The bursary would allow a group of up to 15 Manx visitors and their supporters to attend a five-day activity course at the Lake District Calvert Trust in the early spring or late autumn of each year. This experience would provide visitors with a sense of achievement, new life skills and the motivation to push their own boundaries of what they believe they can achieve in modern contemporary society.

The objective
We would like to invite you to donate money towards a £4,500 per annum bursary ‘pot’, that would allow 15 Manx people with severe disabilities (and their supporters) to experience, for themselves, the difference that The Lake District Calvert Trust can make to the lives of those experiencing, living with, or caring for and supporting severe disability.

Funds donated for the purposes of the Manx bursary will be used for Manx residents.
